Yeah, the excuse of not being able to afford a gym membership doesnt cut with me either, I've just cancelled mine cause I 've been walking 3 days a week and doing aerobics in front of the Tv to a programme called super star workouts. Sounds corny I know and I put it off for weeks just be looking at the name. Buy I got to sit and watch it for a minute and thought it looked great, just like the gym workouts and everyday there's a different expert instructor and routines eg kick boxing, pilates, yogo, aerobics, step and pump classes. For the step I used my 3 year old daughters step from the bathroom with a non slip base on it. and a quilt to lie on the floor for sit ups and push ups. I used a bean bag my kids have as a stability ball that supported my back better than the swiss balls do and it worked. Since last Monday following this and eating every 2.5 hourly I've dropped 3.2kgs. So theres no excuse but the self doubt that consumes us. Just keep telling yourselves you can do it no matter what life throws at us and put your head phones on with your favourite rauchy music to block the kids out and away you go.
