83 Days To Go (112 Day Challenge)

Wohooo! I’m back on top! Went out for a 15km walk today with Garry and actually it felt great. He said he noticed my stride and manner is different as in more focussed. I think it’s because Im not carrying the extra 9 kilos with me.

I was thinking I was doing quite well with a 1/3 of the weight gone with 3/4 of the time left but!……my maths sucks! I realised that in fact its a 1/3 of the weight gone with 2/3 of the time left. Which means I do really need to get even more serious.

 I am going to walk three days a week with one long one and two 10km ones plus I will still turn up at Curves 5 days a week. Every week now I am going to be evaluating whats working as I don’t have time to waste on what’s not working.

Suzanne Prentice call was very inspiring and motivating full with great tips. She lost over 40 kilosin a year! People have been emailing me who missed the call asking if they can get a copy of it on CD or downloadable MP3. I should have it ready by Wednesday so when I send out my weekly email I will have the details in there. I just re listened to it and it’s pretty awesome!

Last night I went to a girlfriends for dinner and we planned some of our Christmas holiday which is going to be spent walking the Queen Charlotte track. I can’t wait! It looks stunning and Ill be 30 kilos lighter ! wohoo…hope its warm so we can swim in those stunning bays. It’s great to have things to look forward to.

Getting a few goals with forward dates are helpful

To shed the kg’s more stedily, try alternating your cadio days with anerobic ones (eg lifting weights) you will burn more fat lifting light weights when you aren’t excersing because your muscles used energy to repair themselves and get stuck into the protein foods, lean meats, egg whites and cottage cheese – these keep you fuller for longer. Us women think that lifting weights will bulk us up. But that is far from the truth. I lost 38 kgs in 10 months and was eating 6 x a day following this rule and loved every minute of it.

    I struggle to eat six meals but i manage to eat three and two snacks
    Curves has a weight element to it so I’m getting the muscle building activities
