86 Days To Go (112 Day Challenge)
What a Call! Suzanne was great! I received a bunch of questions from listeners and Suzanne answered them all. I have been emailed all day today asking if there is a recording of the interview and yes it will be up on my site next week. I will send an email out as soon as it is organised.
Suzanne also gave me her 5 Key Must Do’s to lose weight and I will include those in the email.
I had planned to head out today and do a 8km walk but my daughter had some surgery done this morning and so she needed me to be around. Later in the day when there was time I got my T.O.M and the first day is always draining for me so no walk .Replaced it with a hot bath and laying on the couch this evening.
Hope you are all having a great week!

I’ve not long been following your weightloss journey, but wish you all the best with it.
I’ve tryed so many ways to lose weight and tone up and still no luck, sometimes you wonder what all the point is. I’ve been to 2 different gyms and brought heaps of different excerise equipment and DVD’s, walk requalrly and take the stairs at work and still waiting. I watch what I eat, as I’m not really into fatty or junk food.
You start to get depressed when people around you are losing heaps of weight and doing the same as you and you can’t even lose a little bit of weight.
You have a wonderful day and keep up your great weight loss.

Added on April 24th, 2008 at 4:55 pmHi all,
I’m wondering if all you posting comments about stuggling to loose the weight have tried eating every 2.5 hourly throughout the day – aiming to get in at least 6 meals. Try to get a serving of carbs and a protein in at each meal. Hint – for brekkie have rolled oats (plain that is, not sweetened) boil it up on the stove with water and just as it starts to bubble chuck in two egg whites (not the yokes) then whisk the whites into it until they all break up. Continue to cook until thick and creamy, serve with trim milk and equal sugar or simmilar. Great for Diabetics too this one. Lunch – select lean meat eg chicken breast or surimi etc and a salad (pre packed is quick and easy) with a low fat dressing and for tea more lean meat and heaps of green veg – try not to have any starchy carbs like spuds and pasta after 3pm in the day. And the secret is to stop those hunger pangs go to Pack N Save and buy Sculpt Protein Shake/multivitamin powdered in a green container (ideal for women) and have this for morning, afternoon tea and supper. I guarantee you that you will feel so full and you wouldn’t have eaten anything bad. Go on try it for 3 days and you’ll feel soo good you wont be able to stop. I lost 38kg doing this for 10 months with 3 kids under 9 and working part time, I went through depression and saw my mum develop Parkinsons disease with lightning speed – so there is no excuse! Just self denile which with a bit of love for thyself works wonders. Its all in the head.
