96 Days to Go (112 Day Challenge)
I have had a great weekend and I am seriously behind in replying to people who have emailed me. I am sure people will understand that I need to have a break from the computer as well.
Tomorrow is the start of a new routine for me as the local Curves opens at 6.30am so I’m going to go squeeze in a 30 minute session before I start at 7am, it’s only two doors away so no excuses!
I was also thinking of doing a class each day at Les Mills but I don’t feel ready so will look for something else as my second activity a day. I just finished reading something that said “be active twice a day if weight loss is your goal” and we all know it is!! seriously is!.
I said I would let you guys know what I did on Friday as my girlfriend was surprising me, well I was picked up and taken for a very nice lunch (and a wine…shhh) then treated a full body massage which I slept through most of it due to the wine then off to the casino where we played for an hour and half then back to her house where she had arranged all my friends to be. So it was party into the night on Friday! not very good for the diet but a good training for learning some self control around the food and alcohol of which I had none! I’m afraid to admit!
This blog is going to painfully honest sometimes and yes I would love to cover up for my ”slip up’s” but at the end of the day if I’m not honest I’m not going to change all the patterns I have that lead me to the weight I am!

All the best for your journey. I met you at the wildly wealthy weekend in Yappoon. And belated happy birthday. You had a great time, lucky lady. Think slim thoughts and you will be there. “You can be, do, and have anything you want”
Have a wildy wealthy day
Love to you on your journey

Added on April 13th, 2008 at 7:04 pmHi there! I’ve just joined your site – after reading your article in the ‘That’s Life’ magazine. Wow, good on you for making such an awesome effort. Perfect timing for me too really… I’ve been thinking a lot lately about needing to lose weight (after struggling with bulimia for many years I finally found healing… but it included putting all the weight back on and then keeping it until my body was stabilised enough to be able to lose it again… healthily… but with that has come this fear that if I lose weight, I’ll go back to being sick again… not fun… but I have decided that this is a cop-out and a statement of denial….) Anyway…. as I was saying… so yeah I’d been thinking hard on losing weight and then had a doctor’s appointment and blood tests followed… and I have what is called ‘pre-diabetes’… so not quite diabetes… but close enough to make me feel really sorry for myself!! On the positive side, if I work hard, I can hopefully avoid getting diabetes… and it’s a real kick-start in the lifestyle change!! Goodbye ice-cream and m&ms… hello fruit!! I want to lose 30 kg this year.
