Another Great Week

Grand Total down of 19.6 pounds (8.9 Kilos)

Here I am at the end of another weight loss week and I have to admit a little nervous and a little bit confident. The thought of having to find and give away $27,000 is certainly a great motivator but at the same time watching the scales going in the right direction week after week and with so much lost so early is a greater motivator. I know that when we have a weight issue we are always looking for the next best thing and the MAGIC PILL and although this is not that, it is the next best thing as far as I am concerned. Never before have I lost without feeling hungry or tired or deprived. This is great and I must say I am looking forward to a break from it but at the same time can’t wait to start again. I have chosen what I will follow over the next 6 weeks and it starts on the week of the 12th of Feb so until then I am having a few weeks of winging it and seeing how I do. I want to make sure that when this is over I do not revert to old behaviours so I am planning short little breaks to test out how my old habits versus my new habits do.

The Biggest Challenge I face this coming week is that I have a girls weekend coming up on Friday,Saturday and Sunday. How I propose to manage this is by relaxing a little about it and accepting that I will probably put on some weight. I have allowed myself wine but no other sugars or carbs over that weekend. I will also walk for an hour each day I’m away as it is to beautiful Waiheke Island.

Lets see what the scales say next Monday about my strategy for getting through the weekend. The good thing is I look much better in my outfit I’m wearing for it (its an annual event and girlfriends fly from all over New Zealand to meet for the weekend, we theme it and dress up, flower power this year ). I so do not want any gain while I’m on this journey of letting go of 27 Kilos (60 pounds), some people will say that’s unrealistic and setting myself up for failure.

It’s my weight loss journey though and I’ll do it how it works for me and the biggest tip I can give you is to do it how it works for you.

Bigger Tip; if you are still overweight and have tried everything then maybe there lies the secret, your way is not working, seek expert advise and do it their way until you make it your way!
