First Walk around Hagley Park
Finally joined Barbara who organises the women’s triathlons in Christchurch. They are a friendly bunch and it was a good night to choose to meet up with them as they were all walking due to being in a 140 km bike ride this weekend
I am feeling really motivated and on track. Things have really fallen into place this week. I have had a lot of very supportive emails and am impressed with the challenges people are setting up for themselves over the period of my journey. I am due to send in pictures to That’s Life and some info of where I’m at for them so don’t forget to look out for it. I have taken some photos of me and my mini trampoline. It’s a really simple activity to do in the privacy of your home. I have a friend in Sydney who I found out just recently that he was responsible for bringing them into Australia many years ago plus he made some exercise DVD’s to go with it and told me he had some still . I have left him a voice message to see if I can get one and if they are any good then I’ll let you know!
Curves has been working for me to at the moment and when one of the owners found out she texted me and said she was going to make sure I lost the weight so I don’t lose my money! whew as I really do not want that to happen.
Been great with my eating as well and have stuck to basically the same thing each day, just altering my protein. I find lessening the variety works better for me.

Added on April 19th, 2008 at 3:04 pmIm so glad I found this site, it is so nice to read your entries, they are a great motivator. One thing I personally struggle with is the nutrition side of things, I find I try to eat healthy but I have very little knowledge of the right foods to eat ie. protein, carbs and fat for breakfast etc. Would you have any advice or know of where I can read advice and information for ideas for meals? Thanks.
