I Made It!

I went in to the Magazine headquarters to meet up with Eva the Editor who is one of the nicest people you can meet to have my photos done and to weigh in front of the magazine. When Eva came out to see me she didn’t recognise me! It was a nice feeling having someone be blown away by how you look! Took me around the office to show everyone in Thats Life office who had been following my story obviously and really made a fuss of me. I am pleased to say I weighed in that Morning naked at 58 Kilos and on the scales in front of them at 59! I have made it! I do have to weigh in at my doctors for the official legal side of this so I have another week to go! I know I cut it fine but I did it. I have lost 32 kilos! I am amazing myself actually

Garry and I went shopping today and I fit size10 Dressses, size 10 pants! I am surprising myself!

In a way I am a little sad that this blog has come to an end, it has provided so much support and advice that has helped me stay focused every time the wheels have fallen off, but all good things must come to an end. I would love to see a photo of the new you, I’m sure you look great!

  7. Good on you Phyllis! I first met you in Oct 08 in Hamilton on your tour with Gary & Damion. And even then you looked so different from your original starting photos on your website. So I can’t wait to see what you look like now. Well done to both you & Gary for sticking with it & supporting each other through a TOUGH year!

  8. Congratulations – what an achievement!!! Feel very proud – you have inspired many.

  9. I new you could do it!!! Although the $20,000 would have been nice for someone you have won far more than any money!!! You are a WINNER!!!

  10. Congrats! Back in May when I first read that ‘That’s Life’ article I thought (to myself) that it wasn’t possible. Even in back in the summer it was an amazing story, and now it has an ending where you’re doing marathons.

    Kudos from rainy Vancouver.
