Leaving Singapore Today – Day 7

Today we leave Singapore and get on the ship for the next part of our journey. It’s been relatively easy to not overeat here and to find high protein meals. The heat has been a little harder to motivate myself to go for a run so I have been walking only. I will start running when I am on the boat. Our friends arrived a couple of days ago so of course more challenging to not drink when there are 6 others all drinking but so far so good. We went to Raffles hotel yesturday and everyone had a Singapore Sling in the Long Bar ( can’t come this far and not do it) but I had a Soda and just had a few longggg sips of Garry’s. It was devine. My Soda cost me…wait for it….$10.00! I nearly died – the most expensive Soda water I have had in my life!

Can’t wait to get on the ship and get to the gym now.

  1. Hi phyllis, Popped a comment on a couple of posts ago you may see it there, buy just wanted to jump on tonight and wish you well in Singapore. Hope your sticking to your guns. Make sure if you go out for a meal, to have 2 large glasses of water before you go to fill up your tummy and it will stop the pigging out we tend to do when we’re hungry and see yummy food. Also order your food of a full tum. Another good thing is get some protein powder and a shake cup with a lid and keep that on you, if you can have atleast two a day. This will stabilise your blood sugars, speed up your motabilism and keep you feeling like your on top of things. And remember DON’T GET HUNGRY!!! EAT LOADS OF FISH (NOT FRIED)… Take care, ps. I’m coming back to NZ on the 5th of Sept for two weeks- will be in Palmy Nth for a holiday to see Mum and family. Now at 71kg and loving it. Still wanna get to 64 in the next six weeks. Keep asking me how I’m going – I need the motivation. And then by my 36th birthday in December I’m gonna be 52kg – Down from 105kg 1.5 years ago!! Then I will buy a bikini and strut my stuff – may need a boob job though – lol…
