My Own Biggest Loser
167.5 pounds (75.9 kilos)
This week down 1 kilo
Total – 24.5 pounds (- 11.1 Kilos)
Last week I had a realisation – which maybe obvious to others! but I’m blonde so takes awhile but I realise that I have truely backed myself into a corner in terms of how hard I will have to go from now until the end of the year to acheive this goal of mine.
Soooo I have decided to step it up again.
I have been to the gym and got myself a new trainer and a new regime. Also decided to go with a female this time. So far so good – I like her style and she also understands the seriousness of what I have to do! I live on a hill and she was outside my gate at 7.30am Saturday morning to walk with me to the top of my hill! I was pleasantly surprised that I managed to get to the top without having to stop and I actually enjoyed it!
I have had two gym sessions with her now and I also like them as well. She works me hard but not so I hate it but that I do feel like I have done something. I have also started doing the body for Life run programme in the morning and must say I have surprised myself again with that and again am also enjoying it. I will type out the programme tomorrow in my blog
The other thing I am doing is wearing a pedometer everyday and last week I didn’t change anything in my routine so that I could measure how much I move each day. The results were scarey.
I am starting to research about how to lose weight and to keep it off just through walking. Will keep you posted on this as well
I hope you are all doing well with your exercise and weight loss.
I am the lowest I have been since starting this journey, yes not as low as I should be but still it’s enough to make me feel like I will have a chance to succeed.

Added on June 26th, 2008 at 3:08 pmHi ya Phyllis,
Good to chat to you the other night with Damien, he had some great point and his theory seems logically stupidly simple yet effective and easy – so I have taken on board what he said about no starchy carb if your over 30% body fat for a woman and guess what I’ve been steadily dropping 1.5kg a week and more some days!! People say its dangerous to loose that much weight so quickly but I challenge them to come up with a reason why eating every 3 hours and having only good proteins and slow release carbs at each meal (6 meals a day) – I’ve discovered Olive Leaf Extract over here and its the most amazing stuff – Google the benefits all of you and give it a go – its got a money back guarantee. It reduces high blood pressure and claims to cure some forms of cancer – antibacterial, anti fungal, anti viral!!!
It worked on my 3 year old in hospital with a urine infection who just about had IV a/b’s and then didnt end up getting it as this stuff worked – just blew the DR’s away. Excellent for post excercise recovery and you can go twice as hard without the fatigue and exhaustion. WORTH EVERY PENNY!!!
