Hey all

so here I am , a whole month has almost gone by and my first post for along time

I got an email this morning on Oprah and her views or her companies views on when a book makes it to the big screen. I just want to get my book to make it to paper from my head! I sat last week and went through the structure of it. It’s a huge task and I don’t personally like the word task and usually use challenge so that means I am struggling with it. I have to change my mindset and see it as a challenge, something to achieve rather than a task and something that is to be done. Maybe need to practise what I preach – just suck it up and get it done!

so then the next part of Oprah email says ‘The Oprah.com Great  Nest Egg Giveaway” and seeing we just got through Easter..I think of chocolate then realise blondly she is referring to money, so I click on it and get taken to an american website that wants to get your details so a financial Planner type company can market to you. Nothing wrong with this but most financial planners I have met don’t even make the money or follow the principals themselves and earn less than the person they are advising.

Don’t get me wrong again- you don’t have to be well off to advise people but you do need to follow the practises. What scares me about most people is they are operating in a negative financial state and don’t even realise it. I will put up an exercise on my www.shesucceeds.com  site for people who want to do the exercise to see where they are at financially.

I am helping two people at the moment sort out their finances. Week 4 for one of them and week 1 for the other. I might ask them to blog and people can follow their story if they wish. Let  you know next week.

I am not perfect and I am certainly not qualified to teach people about money but I do know some sound principles that none of us are taught in school
